A 50-year old Sioux Falls man is facing a possible prison term for repeatedly contacting a woman who had a protection order against him, including through Facebook messages.

Timothy Scott Russman was indicted Wednesday in Minnehaha County on one count of felony stalking for his interactions with a 36-year-old woman.

Russman faces up to two years in prison on the stalking charge, because he has protection order violations on his record from November and May of 2013.

The indictment says the most recent violation involved messaging the victim on Facebook on April 1.

Russman first appeared in court on the charge earlier two weeks ago and ordered to be held on a $1,500 cash bond, but was soon released.
