A woman charged with raping three boys in her Sioux Falls apartment earlier this month pleaded not guilty to 16 felony charges on Monday.

Anne Elizabeth Doubler, 30, has been jailed since June 4, the day police arrived at her apartment on North Lewis Avenue and found her inside, naked, with three boys ranging in age from 7 to 10.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens said at the time of her arrest on rape charges that there were other victims who weren't in the home at the time. Read the previous story here.

Doubler was indicted on June 19 for first-degree rape, sexual contact with a child under 16 and sexual exploitation for five total victims, the youngest of whom is 5 years old.

Each count of first-degree rape carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.

On Monday, Doubler pleaded not guilty to all the charges, and her trial date was set for Sept. 8.
