The girlfriend of a man killed during a botched 2013 robbery plans to plead guilty to two felony drug charges in exchange for prosecutors dropping all other charges against her, according to her lawyer.

Faith Rasmussen has change of plea and sentencing hearings scheduled for Nov. 13, according to the Minnehaha County court docket.

"On behalf of Faith, the defense is pleased that the state has dropped all felony charges relating to the terrible crimes committed against Jordan LeBeau and his father," her lawyer Shawn Tornow said.

"Faith was and has been devastated by what happened to Jordan and his father when those crimes were committed against them."

Rasmussen had faced first-degree burglary and robbery charges in connection with the break-in that ended in the shooting death of LeBeau. Prosecutors dropped those charges in August after they said several key witness made statements that negated their credibility.

The only charges that remained were six counts of solicitation to commit a felony. Tornow said those charges, too, will be dropped under the terms of the plea agreement.

Rasmussen is already serving an 80-month federal prison sentence for an extensive drug ring she operated in Sioux Falls.

The Minnehaha County State's Attorney Office declined to comment on the plea negotiations.
